One of the "small" items on my pages-long to-do list is to get updated product photography and descriptions for many of the items in the store. It might be a small item (defined as important, but doesn't prevent site launch), but it's actually a pretty involved job!
The vast majority of products that we brought over from Petersen Games had at least some product photos, but not everything did. As of today, there are still about 50 items remaining to pull from inventory, photograph, edit and post on the website. Of course that product then needs to be re-shrink wrapped and put back into inventory. It's a lot of running around.
We have had two crew members working for a week doing product photography, so everything should be done before too long, but I wanted to let you all know that we are very aware of the missing images, product descriptions, categories and tags.
For now, the search function works very well, but there are definitely a lot of items to sort through, and we are working on getting better "findability" in place for you.
Over the next week, the website will get a lot better. We launched with the minimum viable website but we have lots of plans for cool products, stories, news and media over the coming months!
