Quimbley’s Fans,
In light of a recent post involving one of our gaming partners, we at Quimbley’s Toys & Games felt it necessary to make our own position on such matters clear and concise.
Quimbley’s is an incredibly diverse company with both employees and fans from a range of lifestyles. This diversity has allowed us to create some amazing and inclusive products and games; a focus we continue to embrace. We have always held the belief that gaming in general is meant to be an inclusive space. For many of us, board games, DnD, comic books and the like were our sanctuary growing up. We found solace and community in these places because we couldn’t find them elsewhere. We continue to find community in these spaces.
We take this very seriously.
No one should ever feel like they are not welcome in our circles. Our games are meant for everyone, and we invite everyone to the table no matter who they are, what they look like, how they identify, or who they love.
Our own personal experiences and pains demand nothing less.
We condemn any attacks, whether physical or verbal, against members of our community. This is meant to be a safe space for anyone who feels left out or alone. Creating games has allowed us as a company to bring joy to the world, and that joy is not limited to one group of people or one ideology.
We are gamers. We are geeks. We are outcasts.
If you shout those words as loudly as we do, then know you always have a place at our table.
